    Well done

Where did you do yours? How long did it take & what was the cost? I would really like to do mine, may be good for my confidence issues!?

Pm me if you do not want to post it on here.

Thank you - do you think the mexican wave was modest enough

I did an 18 week course at Brooksby. It is three hours one eve per week, split between riding and care. Think the course cost 400+, then it cost about 140 exam fees and of course you have to be a gold memeber of the BHS 55 (but that saved 66 on my horse insurance for public liability). So it's an expensive business if you fail.

However, I think I've ridden 12+ different horses during the course (including three different ones in the exam - two of which I hadn't ridden before ). It has done wonders for my confidence and the instructors were lovely Whilst they are stage 1 suitable horses, they are by no means 'plods' or RS types. Some are very forward and quite strong, some have awkward habits to deal with eg. frequently striking off on wrong canter lead etc. A really good experience

Hmmmmmmmmm. I won't be doing it just yet then with the cost of 2 horses to keep at the moment

Something i will look at doing in the future though!
