Not yet -- She will hopefully be weaned at the end of the winter (maybe a bit earlier as mum kicking her away quite a lot) and then she will be moving to the yard
She's currently with her mum, a 6 mo gelding weanling and a 6 mo colt weanling. The gelding had to be weaned earlier as mum got quite ill (she ok though ) ... and the colt's dam loaded herself into the trailer while we were loading the other mare ... and so her owner thought what the hell and took her too! Strange things happen at the baby horse nursery hahaha!

    What a busy day!

For various reasons, mostly linked to her dam kicking at her so much it's just not safe any more , we brought Ghost home today! We built a super paddock with about three different energisers on different strands of electric tape at different heights!

She loaded like a pro :thumbup!: Marched onto the trailer with her colt friend (already weaned) like she did it every day. Travelled perfectly and seems to be settling in. Little calling. She's only just over 6 months and we'd hoped to leave her on the dam for longer, but heyho, you do what you have to. I just hope she doesn't try to "suckle" her colt friend I've seen that type of behaviour develop too many times!!
