    Default Your First Jumping Picture

I just found the below picture on a FB album i'd forgotten about and it inspired me to start this thread! Its not the first time i'd jumped, but its the first picture I have (a lot of my photos went off with my dad ) and i still remember that day as to me that was a HUGE jump and I had a crowd of people from the riding school watching me, I probably wouldnt feel prouder winning gold at the olympics than i did that day jumping that fence

The pony was my first ever pony an 11.2 mare called Blue (Aka Khyber Illustrious for anyone into their sec A breeding ) and was a little monster but taught me a lot. I was 5 in the pic

    I love this pic

Lets see your first/oldest jumping pics, and a story if there is one
What would I do without you, my loyal and precious friend?

Haha that is a big jump!

I don't have a photo. I have a video of the first time I 'jumped' Phil, however it's more of a step for him Oh and we both look very fat

    First proper jump I guess:

This is the earliest one i can find, me and the Nimby monster, like you i had a crowd of young friends and their parents and was also extremely proud and felt like i'd just won the olympics.

    I'm around 10/11

He is such a gorgeous boy, love that first one! He's the opposite to Charlie, he likes to get in deep to jumps. Though, Charlie cant actually see a stride very welll himself which might explain that

Every one of the very few photos i have of 'back in the day' are either to soon or to late, we're lucky though because we have actually taken off in this one!

Note the piece of grass for moral support Ahh I actually prefer that Phil tends to stand off. I have no idea how to see a stride and he gets a bit excited but having ridden a horse that gets in deep I must say I prefer standing off if anything - obviously neither are ideal but horses always have their own way
