Looking good! How did you do in the fast walk/slow canter bits? I know skippy/Lucyad etc had (errr) trouble with those when they were doing Trec last year?

Hi, the control of paces is really difficult (there are many entries that score '0' ). In the pairs we opted for me RI to do the slow canter (her 16.3 ID can have the most incredibly controlled pace and she scored a max of 30 both times). I had the fast walk, which we're nit bad at 12/30 both times.

I had to then have a go at the slow canter, a challenge for Ed and I because there's a danger he'll fall into trot, which would result in no points. Fortunately, he was rather forward on Sun so this was easier to manage and we scored 13/30.

The scoring and rules are really quite complicated!! All good fun though.

Well done mr ed! Where was it at - looks like a whtg trec. Are you going to come and do the outdoor one in ravenshead in June? I did it last year (level 1!) and enjoyed it, and will definitely be doing it again this year.

Oh and as for the CoP, it is very hard to score highly in it, 12/30 is very good. (think that's actually what I got for my walk).
