Rolo it sounds like you had a really fun day out! Even if your friend Mischief was a bit naughty
I want to have a go at Le Trec, but Mum reckons I'm too big to go through most of the obstacles, but I'm going to show her this to prove us cart horses can have a go too! (although those 2 poles and the bendy road look like a tight squeeze )

    Only just found this thread.
Wow, now that looks like such fun, lovely pics too. Can I ask why you are wearing synthetic bridles?

with le trec you have to wear a headcollar underneeth your bridle or a combination bridle (a headcollar with detachable reins and cheek pieces so its easy to detach the bit). As Heucherella and I hack a lot I bought her one for her birthday and then the week before I spotted mine for sale on ebay. I am going to take off the browband though as it keeps riding up and looking tight round his ears.

Rolo, you are gorgeous and wonderful and you deserve all your pats and loves. Mischief, you are also gorgeous (and I'm going to quit there before I dig myself a hole).

Looks like great fun - oh and Arnie says he doesnt do low branches either - he is just looking after me!

What a good idea to have it as a headcollar too.
