    Always shirt & tie, and never roundings Google showing pelhams - they are very neat and I have lots Love them.

    So, I should use Pelham, double reins, shirt and tie, with coloured browband for ridden horse.
    Can the Pelham go on a normal snaffle bridle, or will I need a new bridle?

    No, it goes on a normal bridle...

    I doubt you will get marked down for it, but ideally, you should have a showing saddle or a dressage saddle.

    Might be investing in a dressage saddle, though it will have big blocks so I didn't think that would be best for the extended canter/gallop? Nor is it really what I would go out hunting in... But then actually hunting and showing for a hunter type I guess are different....

    Yes - its all forms of showing and therefore show saddles are best.

    I used my DR saddle and H was fine in it, you shouldnt really feel restrictions
