Parc welsh flyer is a famous one, and he has it on both sides, interestingly not too far back on his sires side. His famous son (to me) is Nebo Brenin so its also interesting to see him in a pedigree without Nebo Brenin. i don't know Rhystd Flyer though. Actually if you look at his dams side, she has PWF twice - from Nebo brenin on her sires side and on her dams side too. I love looking at pedigrees, especially welshies to see the same names come up time and time again, geek

Oooow! Sonny and Lola appear to have a few members of their family in common! She also has Nebo Black Magic, Pentre Eiddwen Comet and a few others that I can't remember in common - drat, wish I had her passport with me!

Sorry for the rubbish photo, the giant poo on the floor and her general chubby-ness!
(photo's taken last summer and she's not that 'round' any longer!)

Thats what I was thinking! Even now you see a few lines very close together. I guess all breeds, going way back are closely inbred?

If we'd have thought ahead - cudda taken sonny tomorrow :-( tut.. x

awww man although don't think Troy would appreciate sharing a trailer with him

I know have you noticed that Sonny has two hoofs on one leg because of his inbreeding

Legend's dad is Sonny's great grandad - Derwen Duke of York
    This is Legends: http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/derwen+true+legend

I don't know if it's true for all Derwen's but Legend was slow maturing, he only started maturing when he was about 7.
