Default My mare looks ready to burst! (photos)

No idea when our foal is due as was a BOGOF but she looks ready to burst.

Any guesses when she might produce?

Sorry pics are so big - no idea why

Was thinking about you and your BOGOF!

Her rump has that saggy look - I reckon tonight or Sunday

Is that wax? Looks the crystallised tyoe rather then the rubbery stuff.

    I do like this mare

Thanks stormtrooper - we're a bit fond of her! It is crystalised rather than rubbery. Is that significant?

Wasn't last night Elly Koopman - so could still be your 2nd guess of Sunday.

I've guessed June all along so not many days left for me to be right. She's quite restless tonight which is unusual for her, but not looking very different.

Within a week at my guess, keep an eye for her narrowing up and a v shape to her underbelly can be telltale signs

Check her vulva everyday!!! We sat up for 12 days thinking a mare was going to foal for one morning her to be running milk and vulva a good 2-3 inches longer than normal foal within 12 hours :-)

    How exciting

I had a BOGOF 5 years ago, just started hacking out my little 'free horse' and have still got her lovely mother.

Will be popping back and having a peep at this thread to keep updated

My June prediction seems to be running out of time rapidly. Still no patter of little hooves. Maggie today

This was her exactly 3 months ago today after she had just arrived & when we found out she was in foal.
