    Default Jeans for riding in

Is there a best make/style of jean for riding in?

I don't like denim jods, they are too tight on the lower leg for my liking. I've bought pairs of cheap jeans from Tesco, which have lasted quite well but I only have one pair left that are probably going to die soon as well, so need some more

Dorothy Perkins skinny jeans. They're soft denim and are quite stretchy so don't restrict movement too much. I would say take the studs (you know that you get on the pockets) off though, in case you scratch your saddle.

I ride in jeans all the time-much prefer them to riding in jodhs!
I have a variety of jeans my Jane Norman ones being the comfiest, I try not to wear baggy jeans, the more tighter they are the better (obviously not too tight!!) & skinny legs are better as they tuck into my chaps better

I ride in Wrangler jeans mostly as I find they are hardwearing and smart. Also they aren't half as expensive when you buy them online. These are my favourite:

    Thanks everyone

    How do the wranglers wear?

I am not a fan of skinny jeans, I either wear them over my short boots or tucked into my western boots, so the skinnys don't really work well.

I ride in my new look jeans and they've always been ok

And before I started riding in them, I used to wear them with boots on a night out!!

dorothy perkins skinny jeans arent as skinny as others(i also ride in mine, they are very very comfy!)

i also have an old pair of hooch jeans (also skinny, see a trend?! cant wear bootcut/wide leg jeans) which are good, but too low rise tbh. good job i dont have a muffin top!
