    Default Oakleys agility report *pics*

Oakley had his second go at agility on Saturday. He loves doing it and was getting excited to leave the yard, pretty much dragged me to venue (we walk as its opposite our yard). He was straight over to the obstacles and had a play on everything.

Last time he went, he managed to get 3 feet on the podium and wasn't keen to put the 4th on and he went up the ramp but would hop off before he had to go down it. But he was pretty good for his first time.

This time, he went straight through 'the curtain', got all 4 feet on the podium and went up and down the ramp fantastically. Theres plenty of other obstables but I'll let the photos do the talking

Helping me read the instruction sheet

With this one, he had to trot from markers 'A' to 'C', do a slow walk from 'C' to 'B' and stand for 10 seconds then do a fast walk back to 'A'. You have to do it without any tension on the rope so they're responding to your body language and can show they're watching you.

Weaving in and out of cones with an umbrella up, not a problem for Oakley, again no tension on the rope.

Proving he can do the ramp

    And posing for the podium

Love my baby horse, hes taken to this so well and loves doing it.
RIP Forest, always in my heart.I can never forget the times we had together. Run free.I'll see you again one day

Any horse can do it at any age, Oakley was the youngest in his group every time hes been but there are others that go with mini shetlands or big TBs.
