    Thanks everyone - am over the moon with him tonight, we went on our first ever solo hack. It's not the best hacking where Mi is stabled, but we managed a 60mph road with twisty bends, cyclists, fast cars, German Shepherds jumping up at gates etc etc, all without a hitch!
    Our only problem was coming back, I stupidly asked for trot when he was already on his hocks and we ended up cantering on tarmac with some minor brake failure!

    Have entered our first proper SJ comp too - 10th Oct. 50cm course so nice and easy, hopefully. Jumping practice tomorrow!

    What a cute pony! I can't get over how different he looks all grown up from his foal pictures!
