Thread: Songs that pick you up.

    Default Songs that pick you up.

    Does anyone here have songs that pick them up when they're down? I'm going through a few issues at the moment so have a whole play list dedicated to cheering myself up! These are a select few

    Totally with you with Avicii!! It cheers me up and also calms me down a lot, especially when I was nervous about driving/my driving test
    My other pick me up songs are;
    Anything by Of Monsters and Men, but particularly this one

    I know this one's a bit kiddy, but I love it

    I rediscovered this recently and it definitely put a smile on my face

    This never fails to put me in a good mood. Bit obscure, but it's a great version of a great song

    Basically anything from Bob Dylan's Blood on the Tracks is guaranteed to put me in a good mood. I've definitely inherited this one from my dad. We both swear this is one of the greatest albums ever. My favourite is probably Shelter from the Storm, but oh my god it's an amazing album from start to finish and as soon as I hear the opening bars of Tangled Up In Blue I get a smile on my face.

    And this. I just love love love it, something about the tune puts me in a really good mood!

    An old skool dance tune "Forever Young" always does it for me.

    Since moving yards in the summer Miley Cyrus "We cant stop" cos it reminds me of a night out with the yard girls and how free and happy I felt.

    Aviici songs are good and oh there are so many but cant check my playlist as phone knackered lol. Love Ryan Oshaunesseys No Name for hacking along in the sunshine.

    Jai Ho- The Pussycat Dolls, it is impossible to listen to that song and not have a smile on my face.
    If We Ever Meet Again- Timbaland and Katy Perry. Club Can't Handle Me- Flo Rida. Jason Derulo is so catchy and happy also

    Also this could be mega embarrassing but Cimorelli make me happy. They are 6 sisters who live in America and sing together, their songs are so cheesy and corny but also so happy, they're infectious
