Yay, I was able to ride yesterday, I probably shouldn't be riding but it was a horse who'd never drop you. I did get a bit sore just from having to use the broken bits, but that's fairly normal.

I'm really hoping the physio can sort me out quickly so I can get back on my own horse

    Second 'test' today

Bit of a bungle of a fall, I went everywhere... no pain, not even my bad back, no injuries.
Jacket went off no problems, instructor commented about how relatively quiet it was. 6 horses in the arena standing nearby and none batted an eyelid. Horse returned to me while I was on the ground (in an international sized arena)

I had spare canister today, and its quick to change, but the whole process IS a bit of a faff. I have a little pack with a spare canister, the allen key and setting bolt (why aren't they one piece??? I'll never understand!)
I had to get it from the car and then I was trying to wind it with just the allen key (forget the setting bolt)

Got back up and rode is the moral of the story I guess!
