Default The penny dropped today with our schooling

We've started schooling and badger is starting to accept a contact now. Just slow baby steps and only doing 20 mins twice a week, but last night she showed some really nice moments and I actually felt like a rider again rather than just a limp lettuce LOL

Excuse the poor quality, it was getting dark.

Could do with some ideas for exercises now, can anyone recommend a book or some good schooling exercises ?

101 schooling exercises is good. Lots of transitions not only round the edge but on the centre line etc and not only circles but shallow loops and figures of eights.
Looking great by the way but you referred to him as a her? Or am I wrong and he's always been a her lol.

Looking nice and active, watch that he doesn't get tight through the shoulders at this stage as he starts to "think" he understands what he's being asked to do - I echo the 101 Dressage exercises recommendation, and lots and lots of flexions and lateral work to get him 3-dimensionally mobile and flexible x
